Version 1 was made with Inkscape.
Most of the code for Version 4 (2022-01-22) was made with the "line graph" spreadsheet documented at User:RCraig09/Excel to XML for SVG, with subsequent manual edits in text editor to further optimize code.
The NASA website hosts a large number of images from the Soviet/Russian space agency, and other non-American space agencies. These are not necessarily in the public domain.
The SOHO (ESA & NASA) joint project implies that all materials created by its probe are copyrighted and require permission for commercial non-educational use. [2]
