English: Fig. 2. Illustration of the mechanism associated with anticancer effects of Romidepsin by promoting apoptosis and triggering G2/M cell cycle arrest in HCC cells in an in vitro model. Romidepsin induced apoptosis and G2/M phase arrest via JNK/c-Jun/caspase-3 and Erk/cdc25C/cdc2/cyclinB activation, respectively. Abbreviations: ERK, extracellular signal-regulated kinase; JNK, c-Jun N-terminal kinase; Cdc25c, cell division Cycle 25c; DNA, deoxyribonucleic acid; HCC, hepatocellular carcinoma.
