History
Capital1 Solar Energy joined the Premier Volleyball League in 2024.[2][3] It beat the bid of three other entities to be allowed to take over the franchise of disbanded club, F2 Logistics Cargo Movers.[4] They became the newest team entering the PVL after Strong Group Athletics joined the league before the start of the 2024 PVL First All-Filipino Conference.[5]
The team initially known as the Power Spikers are linked to Capital1 Solar Energy and is co-owned by Mandy and Milka Romero. Mandy Romero is the President of Capital1 Solar Energy.[6] The sisters are daughters of Capital1 director, basketball patron, politician Mikee Romero.[7] Roger Gorayeb is the inaugural head coach.[8]
