MfD review

Page restored and moved to draftspace already. ☺ · Salvidrim! ·

@Salvidrim!:

As per WP:DRVPURPOSE, I request that you consider that your closing interpreted consensus incorrectly.

As a point of agreement, I request that you agree that there was consensus at the MfD that the topic was wp:notable and sourceable.

The initial clause of the closing, "Userfying makes no sense (it is already a userspace draft)...", premises incorrectly that all userspaces are identical.  The MfD, [WP:Miscellany for deletion/User:Kmweber/Russell G. Lloyd, Jr.], is an example of an MfD for an article in userspace where the result was Userfy.

The subsequent clause of your closing is that I had not requested userfication to my userspace.  But my words "I request userfication" have a plain meaning.  According to our article, "I is the first-person singular nominative-case personal pronoun..."  The question, "Userify [sic] to who [sic]?" literally means that the questioner doesn't recognize the meaning of the first-person singular nominative-case personal pronoun, which is a caution to avoid WP:BITE.  My statement, "I request userfication", was repeated, underlined, and clarified; without WP:BITE.

Your MfD closing was that there was no community consensus to userfy to my userspace.  You now know that "Userfy does make sense".  You also now know that by "I request userfication", I also meant "Userfy to my userspace so that I can improve the article".  The close as it stands IMO is an incorrect reading of the pillar that we are here to build an encyclopedia.  Please revise your close.  Unscintillating (talk) 08:30, 13 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect edit on the Project Page

The words "on request" added to the project page a few minutes ago are not correct.  No diff was provided in which I made such a request.  Unscintillating (talk) 23:02, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
