Question from Rufinsky (09:54, 18 June 2024)

Hey, I wanted to add a portrait of someone named Hans Westenberg, recipient of the Ramon Magsaysay Award. But unfortunately I only found two of his portraits. The first image has complete information such as who the photographer is, but it is a little blurry and has a watermark, while the second image comes from Ramon Magdaysay's official website and the portrait is clearer, but it is clear that the background has been photoshopped, so there is only a portrait of Hans and the background is a room. So the question is; Can I remove the watermark from the first image (without make the image clearer from the blur), or secondly can I still upload the second image which is clearer but has a photoshopped background. --Rufinsky (talk) 09:54, 18 June 2024 (UTC)

Hiya @Rufinsky, I'm not the best with media copyright here as I don't really handle files, you might be better asking at the Teahouse. If in doubt, I wouldn't upload it but ask there, as copyright is one of the trickiest aspects of Wikipedia. Feel free to come back here if you need any other help with this matter or other issues :) Zippybonzo | talk | contribs (they/them) 10:30, 18 June 2024 (UTC)

@Laurengoldstreet, Hiya, I'm inactive for a reason, please don't ask me to review articles as I've never really reviewed them upon request. Best wishes, Zippybonzo | talk | contribs (they/them) 14:47, 19 June 2024 (UTC)

Question from SweetKell (22:39, 23 June 2024)

I edited/updated my son Ty Kelly's Wikipedia info and it got rejected. Why am I not able to update it? --SweetKell (talk) 22:39, 23 June 2024 (UTC)

Hey @SweetKell, you have a conflict of interest. Editing about pages that you have a close connection to is forbidden. You should instead use a edit request. Feel free to reach out if you need further help :) Thanks, Zippybonzo | talk | contribs (they/them) 15:26, 24 June 2024 (UTC)

Question from Rizky Translation (15:05, 25 June 2024)

Hello, Zippybonzo Nice to meet you

Honestly, I came here not for editing the articles, I want it, but I think I am not the suitable person to do that. My major reason is to translate some articles to and from Arabic, English, and Indonesian because I am loving to do that, and I need some projects so I can apply freelance jobs.

I am happy if you help me in relying that. Thank you! --Rizky Translation (talk) 15:05, 25 June 2024 (UTC)

Hiya, please see the policy on undisclosed paid editing. Offering a service such as Wikipedia editing in return for money or other valuable items is against the Terms of Use of WIkipedia and results in you being blocked, as such I discourage this. Question from Pearl girl123 on User:Pearl girl123/sandbox (17:59, 1 July 2024)

Hi I'm writing about a person and it's my first ever article. So can you share me some tips? --Pearl girl123 (talk) 17:59, 1 July 2024 (UTC)

@Pearl girl123, my best advice is to make sure that the person is notable, and to adhere to the biographies of living people guidelines if they are a living person. Feel free to reach out to me if you would like me to take a look at your draft :) Zippybonzo | talk | contribs (they/them) 10:07, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
