Information icon Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Buffalo Gals, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please review WP:IPCV as well. DonIago (talk) 17:41, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I added a reference. The production logo appears in the end credits of all episodes of My So-Called Life. It isn't clear whether I need to make this explicit. I could not figure out how to get a Wikipedia cross-reference to My So-Called Life in the reference itself. Trainmaster (talk) 21:26, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I figured out how to reference My So-Called Life in the reference. Trainmaster (talk) 23:13, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You didn't provide a third-party source to establish that this use of the song is considered significant in any manner. As I mentioned in my original note, please review WP:IPCV. Thank you! DonIago (talk) 17:04, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Doniago I remain clueless as to why you made this deletion. In the article about the production company, the use of the song is noted. If it is relevant there, why not here? Trainmaster (talk) 22:46, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
As I said before, you need a third-party source to establish that this use of the song is significant, per WP:IPCV. Have you reviewed the information at that link? Is there a third-party source in use at the article for the production company? There may not be, since in that case there's no need to establish that the use of the song is significant. Articles about songs, movies, etc. should not contain lists of every single time anyone else referenced that song/movie/etc., and the way we determine what's worthy for inclusion is by relying on sources that discuss the reference. I'm not sure how much more clear I can be here. DonIago (talk) 00:58, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Doniago yes, I read the page. So you're saying that the use of the song isn't enough if no one has remarked on that use, right? I think that's an unreasonably high bar, and I'm sorry I wasted my time trying to make a contribution. Trainmaster (talk) 19:55, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry you feel that way. You're welcome to raise the question at the appropriate Talk page, but I don't think you should get your hopes up, as there was a pretty broad consensus leading into that decision. DonIago (talk) 20:10, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
