Ayta

Please read Ayta al-Sha`b incident. The vast consensus is that it took place in Israel. Feel free to revert. Thanks, TewfikTalk 00:46, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

my feeling is that before the there is a unanimous concense, no mention of the geographical location. --Stephenzhu 00:53, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to the Lieberman article

Meet your new best friend, the "Show preview" button.

Please use show preview and not spam the edit history. Thanks. Anomo 01:03, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Once mediation has been requested, do not add major edits. Wait for the mediator. You are contributing to an edit war, which solves nothing.

Reverts

Please stop reverting the Joe Lieberman article; you have violated the three-revert rule several times over, and I have posted on the admins' noticeboard regarding this. So many reverts are disruptive to the functioning of the wiki, so please stop. --Emufarmers(T/C) 05:50, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Anon edits

Stephenzhu, review the talk page of that anon editor: multiple vandalism warnings, and blocked. It is permitted to delete obvious vandalism from talk pages. Sandy 22:49, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lieberman mediation

Hello, I have volunteered to mediate this case. Please see my comments over at Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-08-04 Joe Lieberman. Thanks! Fishhead64 20:44, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NPOV is your friend

This is regarding your censorship [1] of casus belli line. It seems that you misunderstand the NPOV policy. Please review it and don't cite it improperly. WP does not have to follow what you consider neutral. ←Humus sapiens ну? 22:40, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing the NPOV description, and inserting a version that takes away from the consensus understanding. If you find current articles making this claim, then we can discuss, but you haven't done so so far. You should also be aware that you are about to violate the three-revert rule. It is much more productive if we just engage in Talk. Cheers, TewfikTalk 18:47, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Stephenzhu: as you can see, your version of what you claim to be a "neutral casus belli" doesn't stick. First, you forgot to discuss it, and second, you misunderstand the WP:NPOV policy. ←Humus sapiens ну? 07:03, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:Tuvastampk.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Tuvastampk.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:10, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

3RR Violation

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.

Unspecified source for Image:Tuvaold.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Tuvaold.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fritz S. (Talk) 15:49, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Jra_trio.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Jra_trio.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 20:38, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
