Hi. It is obvious that you have a strong point of view. However, that is not enough at Wikipedia. Please see WP:NPOV. The info in articles has to be supported by reliable sources. There are more than enough sources that explain how "Latino" is defined in English. The government's definition effectively does make "Hispanic" and "Latino" synonymous. This is the key document you should read if you intend to edit this article properly. (See also [1]) It's from the Office of Management and Budget. They produce the defintions of races and Hispanic/Latino origin. Here's a quote: "Hispanic or Latino. A person of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin, regardless of race. The term, "Spanish origin," can be used in addition to "Hispanic or Latino."" As you can see, Brazilians and Brazilian Americans are not in those definitions, which is noted in Latino (demonym). You'll find also that the English language dictionaries give various definitions. Now you and I and millions of others know that the English and government definitions differ from the Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Catalan, etc. But this is the English language Wikipedia, so we have to go by the English usage. Also, please be aware that Wikipedia has rules against too much reverting. See WP:3RR. Rather than revert, please raise this issue on the talk page. If there's enough consensus, changes will be made that reflect your point of view. I do have to tell you that this issue has been extensively discussed already in Talk:Latino (demonym).
