A tag has been placed on Aaron Milo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. OlYeller21Talktome 22:10, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Joppie. I see you're recreating the article that was previously deleted. There is a problem that will need to be addressed very soon for the article to remain on Wikipedia. Here at Wikipedia, we have a guidelines called WP:NOTABILITY that describes what qualifies a subject for inclusion in the encyclopedia. As of right now, the article has no claim of notability meaning that notability is not only asserted, it's not proven. Can you please check out WP:GNG, WP:BIO, and WP:CREATIVE to see if the subject you're writing about is notable? If so, a claim will have to be made in the article along the lines of, "Aaron Milo has played a main role in several Broadway performances" or "Aaron Milo has played a main role in several TV shows". If there's no claim made, the article will most likely be speedily deleted as it has been in the past.

If you have any questions, you can ask them here, my talk page, or on the talk page of the article and I'll do my best to assist you. OlYeller21Talktome 16:59, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I have placed some improvement templates on the page. Don't be alarmed by them. They will call other editors to the page to improve it. OlYeller21Talktome 17:02, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Aaron Milo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Hello. Concerning your contribution, Aaron Milo, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4378215/bio. As a copyright violation, Aaron Milo appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Aaron Milo has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Aaron Milo and send an email with the message to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that it is licensed under the CC-BY-SA license, leave a note at Talk:Aaron Milo with a link to where we can find that note.
  • If you hold the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the CC-BY-SA and GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:Aaron Milo.

However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. While contributions are appreciated, Wikipedia must require all contributors to understand and comply with its copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 20:25, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You must not copy material into Wikipedia, it could cause serious legal problems. Please read Wikipedia:Copy-paste and, if you are editing as part of a class project, please ask your instructor to read it too, and explain it to the rest of the class.
Even if the copyright issue were resolved, the promotional tone of a company or personal website may be unsuitable for an encyclopedia article, which requires a neutral point of view. Article subjects need to have notability, which is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by showing references to "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject."
There is more detail at WP:Notability (people) and for actors WP:ENTERTAINER, and good advice on how to write an acceptable article at WP:Your first article. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 20:32, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
