Whoever initiated the article about me wrote a piece that seemed mildly hostile in intent--not at all neutral; was riddled with inaccuracies (some of them embarrassing in addition to being false); and included a single hostile review. I corrected factual inaccuracies, and added up-to-date information, and accurate quotes from three reviews from reputable sources cited at the end of the quotes. Please feel free to remove them, but in that case, leave off the single hostile review from the previous review section, which, because it stood alone, seemed intended to attack. One inaccuracy I couldn't fix is that my name isn't Margaret Daisy Fried. Perhaps you could handle that. Daisy Fried (talk) 17:40, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Daisy Fried[reply]

i was afraid that was going to happen, i for one found your edits just fine, but the rules at wikipedia make your edits suspect (ain't that a kick in the head). i'm sorry you thought that was hostile, i only included that review because it was the only web accessible third party opinion that i could find (Cold Front Magazine). (sometimes reviews are important to establish notability of other poets who have fewer awards than you). the inaccurate flotsam and jetsam of the web are at least a start on a biography of living poets. and it provides an easy platform to show the links to your work at ploughshares and poetry. okay, no problem. add back in the coldfront review for sure. I didn't mean to sound like I want to whitewash things. My real name is Margaret F G Fried, my nickname is Daisy but it's not Margaret Daisy. I probably asked hyy to change that years ago; I guess they never did. I know there's a lot of weird if not bad info floating around the web. I was mostly embarrassed because it sounded like I was married to the right-wing talk show host Jim Quinn (horror) whereas I'm married to the way-left-wing writer Jim Quinn. Anyway, thanks! not at all, that review tends to show the reviewer not the subject, (sometimes wikipedia devolves into legalistic rules to guard against the adolescent spamming) but you present the O. Henry, Jimmy Carter problem, (the librarians will always want to put your full name) now if we could find enough writings to make Jim Quinn (way-left-wing writer) notable. hmm [2], [3], [4] Pohick2 (talk) 19:29, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
