VirtualPBX edit to List of VoIP Companies

Hi. Thank you for clearly indicating your COI in your recent edit summary for List_of_VoIP_companies. I agree that your edit was reasonable in that it did match the other entries in pointing to an existing Wikipedia page. In the future, though, it would be better if you add your edit request as a new section to the associated Talk page, such as Talk:List_of_VoIP_companies and asked other editors to make the change on your behalf. That way is much cleaner and clear in terms of COI. Then some other editor is judging it appropriate to add the text on your behalf. Similar to the way you have added edit requests to Talk:VirtualPBX in the past. This also allows other editors (such as me) to push back on people who go and edit pages like List of VoIP companies to include their company. (Versus them pointing to you or others and saying "Well, they edited the page for their company!".) Your help would be appreciated. Thanks! - Dyork (talk) 01:12, 29 July 2020 (UTC)
