Green Day

Hey, can you provide a reference for the Green Day sales totals you have posted so we can cite them on the article? Thanks. WesleyDodds 02:01, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Church AfD nominations

  • Thank you so much for saying what you did. First of all, while I am an atheist, that does not have a single thing to do with this. I did not create the atheist wikiproject...in fact I haven't even been to that page. I did nominate the burnt church first nation by mistake, which I changed to speedy keep as soon as I found that out. I got these churches from church stubs, not by googling as you put it. I read each article, and nominated the ones that I felt were not notable. As with other AfD's, there are articles that are notable to some, and not to others. I did not feel that they were notable, and I still don't think most of them are. However, there are a few that have done significant work since I tagged them, and I will make the change to keep. Thank you for judging me and automatically assuming that I have an agenda, and that my religious beliefs have something to do with this, when that is the EXACT opposite. --Адам Райли Talk 05:16, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Apology completely accepted! I think that I'm in the same boat with you, and completely understand where you're coming from. I know that Christianity is constantly under attack (although not any more than any other religion), and it bothers me, considering that Christianity is one of the most historically important religions out there. I think that I just went about grouping the churches together wrong. I was trying to clean up sections at a time, and...hey, churches were a good place to start. I knew about the groupings of AfD's, but didn't think it would have ended up that bad. All of the churches I nominated seemed to be rather poor to me...a lot of them had significant work to show their notability, and I won't nominate them in the future...but I'm sure I'll be nominating a lot of them again. Anyway, apology accepted, and hopefully this will make me think twice about giving such a small description for a large number of churches in the future. --Адам Райли Talk 05:05, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
