update

I've done some copy editing. Look what I did. Also, see above. I've also inserted some [citation needed] tags. I don't think I went crazy with them, but I think you do need to start citing more often. Finally, when you cite, fill out the template fully. I'm talking about footnotes 2 & 3. And choose your templates more carefully. #3 is actually a journal article not a webpage.

I'd like you to address these questions for next week (10/31).

This is the best wikipedia style writing you have done. Dr Ashton (talk) 18:25, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Great read overall! You tackled the wiki format excellently as well as Robert Greenleaf. This was a smooth read for me. I felt that I understood more after reading this than I did before. Your tone of writing is something I aspire for regarding Wikipedia writings. A few notes on possible edits, you may take them or leave them. First, you mention in the first paragraph "how and why" Greenleaf came up with Servant Leadership. It seems to me you explained the "how" very well, but not so much the "why". The answer for the "why" appears to be "the realization that a new-found leader should be someone that servants or workers can relate to"? I'm not sure, if so, why does Greenleaf see this as important? Is this mentioned at all through your research? What led him to coming up with Servant Leadership from that read? I suggest more focus on answering the "why", not from an argumentative point of view but just giving the reader an understanding of why Greenleaf found this so imperative that he created a term on it. You stated "Greenleaf came to the realization..." why, what made him come to realization? Secondly, you mention Christianity like the original Servant Leadership article did. They also mentioned other findings of Servant Leadership prior to Greenleaf other than Jesus Christ. I think that should be mentioned. Unless you did not mention them for a particular purpose, may be no findings? Again, overall great read. Just a little lost on the why and why no mention of other religions. @Jwills725: Thank you for your insight on my writing. I chose not to mention the other religions because there wasn't much research/information on how they related to Servant Leadership. That being said, I assumed that the small amount of research on those religions may not be relevant in the Servant Leadership article. I will add more on the topic of why Greenleaf came up with the idea of Servant Leadership. Binky1110 (talk) 20:32, 6 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
