The problems with current events

As above: welcome to Wikipedia. I found the page 2006 Wallabies Spring Tour, which you have done a lot of work on, linked from the Ospreys page. There's nothing wrong with creating a page about a specific tour. Wikipedia has lots of such pages already: 2001 British Lions tour to Australia, Australian cricket team in South Africa in 2005-06 and so on. It is important not to discuss things which haven't happened already. But we can describe things which have been reported as going to happen; or at least we can describe what was reported :) So we have pages about United States general elections, 2006 and the 2010 Winter Olympics. But we need to provide references (which have already happened, so to speak. Confused yet?) I can see a bunch of external links which I presume are the references. Great; but they need associating with the facts they're supporting. I have added one reference in. Feel free to copy the formatting!

By the way, I do not think the not a crystal ball rule applies to usernames, before you worry :) Telsa (talk) 14:29, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
