hello i wish to add video link in a article,which is TV interview of the living person relevant to subject. But as per wiki youtube videos are not permitted can i upload the same video to Wikimedia commons then give the link in the article?kindly suggest and help me regards akkihebbal geetha

Please note that usage of multiple accounts is prohibited as per WP:SOCK, and inappropriately using multiple accounts will result in blocks on all accounts involved. in short, please use one account only. hello I am the same person/individual Geetha akkihebbal. Thanks for informing me that youtube links are not accepted for the article. Since this is a TV news which is available for free use in youtube by TV channels, so I thought it is relevant for the article.

Thank you very much for making me to understand my errors/mistakes. I have worked back the history and understood the errors. firstly this is my first article and also, I am not a software person.

1. I created an account in Wikipedia by name: akkihebbal geetha for writing the article 2. later to add images I created another account in "Wikimedia commons'by name:geetha akkihebbal to upload images and link the images

to the article. This was my mistake. I thought Wikipedia and Wikimedia are two different entities. This error has happened unknowingly

by me.

I am extremely sorry for the confusion.

Now, kindly advice me how to resolve this issue? Is it possible to cancel my "wikimedia commons' account? or should I rewrite the article once again? I will be grateful to you if you can help me to come out of this issue. I want to improve this article as and when required and contribute to wiki. I further assure you that this type of mistake will never occur from my side in future.

You say that you created Geetha akkihebbal account to upload images at Commons. But, in reality that account has been used to edit Wikipedia more than 400 times. Yes, I do understand I made some mistake. I just checked and I am convinced that I am able to log in using both accounts in wikipedia with same password. I assure you that I was only using both these accounts and I promise you that in future all my edits will be done using Geetha Akkihebbal. Trust me some error has occurred unknowingly & the error is between surname and first name. I am old person and really don't recollect how it has happened. Let me tell you honestly - I am not trying to justify my mistake. I had mentioned in earlier message also that I am new to wiki and this is my first article.

My dear friend, I shall be obliged if you can kindly help me to come out of the problem and advice me as to what is to be done. Honestly, I do not want to prolong this issue. I have dedicated 2 months of work on this article. If you are not convinced you may unblock. My sincere thanks to you for all the help.
