Your move of "Weeden Island Culture" to "Weedon Island Culture"

I really wish you had proposed this move on the talk page first. I think it was mistake, and I intend to move it back unless I can be convinced that archaeologists really use "Weedon Island Culture" instead of "Weeden Island Culture". -- Donald Albury 13:26, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just realized that you also changed "Weeden" to "Weedon" in the titles of references. That was not a "spelling correction". -- Donald Albury 13:38, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize if I was in error. I live near the actual namesake Weedon Island and it is indeed named that way. I was under the impression that Weed(e/o)n Island Culture would be named in the same way. Looking back, it was rather hasty of me to have moved it without discussion first, and for that I definitely apologize. How do you think we should go about resolving this? Adam Weeden 14:49, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No need to apologize. I understand what prompted you to do it. I wasn't aware of the name discrepancy until this came up. If you agree, I will move the article back, and add the information that the name of the island was mis-spelled at the time of the first report in 1923. 'Weedon Island culture' will then be left as a redirect, as there is some use of that name. -- Donald Albury 13:07, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your Mediation Cabal Case

Hello, I am a mediator for the mediation cabal which you posted your case on. I personally think this case might be better directed at Third Opinion and continued violations to the Arbitration Committee for a binding solution rather than a voluntary one. If you would still like to take a voluntary approach, then please reply to my talk page and I will take on your case. Thanks, Somitho 22:05, 17 December 2006 (UTC) [reply]

Mediation Case

Hello, Adam, I'm Shadow1, the mediator handling your case. From what I can tell, there's a chance that User:Starwars1955 might possibly be using multiple IP addresses to edit the article and its talk page, so know that the case might move into a checkuser request. Further discussion will be carried out on Talk:Brett Favre. Thanks! Shadow1 (talk) 20:54, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. It seems as if some admins have stepped in also and banned him at least temporarily. Adam Weeden 00:01, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Adam: I try my best on the Brett Favre Records Watch, some of my edits (3-2-1 games left) never appear or revert for some reason ....--Billymac00 14:51, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's no problem. Just letting you know, and I would never edit someone else's comments. :) Adam Weeden 15:36, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Starwars1955

Uh, you're right. I didn't mean to sign his comment. Thanks for changing that for me. =) --King Bee 22:01, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
