Hello, I'm Donner60. An edit you recently made to Misogyny in hip hop culture seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 04:39, 9 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Words to watch. Wikipedia is not a blog, forum, fan site, advice site, publisher of original research, soapbox or directory. It is an encyclopedia based on reliable, verifiable, third-party sources. It does not include personal opinions, commentary, speculation, suggestions, directions or advice to the reader, rumors, original research or unsourced text that is likely to be disputed or challenged. It is written entirely in the third person (except for direct quotations with citations). See Wikipedia:Five Pillars, Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources, Help:Footnotes, Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view and Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. Article feedback

I've reviewed your additions to the article Misogyny in hip hop culture and wanted to bring some issues to your attention:

  • One of the five pillars of Wikipedia is that articles should be written from a neutral point of view. Some of your additions (for example the sentences that begin with "We need to consider..." and "You cannot fault...") create the appearance of advocacy for a certain viewpoint and should be rewritten to have a more neutral tone.
  • You have employed some excellent sources and the training module Sources and Citations will help you with proper citation format. Parenthetical citations should not be used and there are two footnotes which do not point to any citations following the sentence which ends "...Eve and Beyoncé frequently use their sexuality to claim sexual liberation".

Please let me know if you have any questions. Rob (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:14, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
