1962–63 Television Tournament (snooker)

Why did you remove the text saying that the 1962–63 Television Tournament (snooker) was a "Pro-am" event? the sources clearly state that both professionals and amateurs competed. I asked the same question at User talk:178.167.205.73 but there is no reply so far. BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 16:03, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Because pros and Amateurs played then and in the old days with handicaps. They were still know as invitational events 178.167.225.10 (talk) 16:08, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any reason why it can't be both invitational and pro-am? I don't think these are mutually exclusive. BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 19:39, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a section to the talk page at Talk:1962–63 Television Tournament (snooker) which I think is the best place to continue this discussion. Regards, BennyOnTheLoose (talk) 22:17, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You are again editing against consensus and starting an edit war over it. Please take any disputes to the article talk pages. wjematherplease leave a message... 17:00, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This snooker season 20/21 layout goes against consensus for all other seasons in history, as you said yourself on the Dustin Johnson and Rory Mcilroy pages leave the pages as they are for now until consensus is reached. The same rules apply here. 178.167.225.10 (talk) 17:03, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My revert on the season article was an error. My comment here is in reference to the article mentioned above, which you have changed three times, and Jonathan Barron, which you have changed twice. wjematherplease leave a message... 17:15, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
