Request reason:

I don't know why my IP is being connected to an unintelligible bot, but it is, thus preventing me from creating an account or doing any editing. I have never edited Wikipedia before, but I am a long time reader. I have also submitted an Account request in the hopes of expediting this process, though I'm almost certain the additions I intended to make will be redundant by that time.

Decline reason:

If you have submitted a request for an account, that's the best thing you can do right now. -- Amanda - mobile (aka DQ) 08:28, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
