"The Hopes of President Xi", also known as "To Be an Upright Man for a Lifetime", is a song written by Chinese leader Xi Jinping[1][2] and composed by Yanhui Jiang (姜延辉).[2]
The song is sung by detainees in the Xinjiang internment camps.[1]

该曲的作曲人姜延辉在接受中国青年网的采访时说:"我感觉,其实这首歌就是习近平一生的写照,他当过农民,在最基层干过,经历过非常难的时期。他能做得这么好就是因为他有正确坚定的信念,人这一辈子都会做错事,尽量避免做傻事,坚决不能做坏事,堂堂正正一辈子。这些话都是他发自内心的,自然流露出来的。"
