Presidents or First Secretaries
Somehow the LKP First Secretaries should not be appearing with the Lithuanian flag next to them, no? —PētersV (talk) 17:54, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
- Somehow LKP First Secretaries of puppet governments should not be confused with real presidents? And are "leaders" installed by force really "leaders" at all? And perhaps one should not imply a continuity of Lithuania (independent) to Lithuania (SSR) to Lithuania (independence restored)? FYI, we split presidents and first secretaries to separate templates for Latvia. —PētersV (talk) 14:51, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- Paleckis is not a past president or Lithuania, just as Kirchesteins is not a recognized president of Latvia. PētersV TALK 14:57, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
"Heads of state"?
Would "Heads of state" (as with other countries' templates) be a more accurate description for the people listed in this template? Sardanaphalus (talk) 00:00, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
