This template is designed principally to expand one parameter- for example an American K-12 grade into grade, ages, and English year groups. It can work from grades, year groups and ages.
Usage
{{School year|4}}gives: grade 3 (age 9–10){{School year|4|informal=yes}}gives: 3rd grade (age 9–10){{School year|4|plural=yes}}gives: grade 3 (ages 9–10){{School year|4|plural=yes|yeargroup=true}}gives: grade 3 (ages 9–10), year 4{{School year|8|plural=yes|yearform=true}}gives: grade 7 (ages 12–13), second form{{School year|13|yearform=true}}gives: grade 12 (age 17–18), upper sixth
