The Ariston Theatre (Italian: Teatro Ariston) is a theatre[1] and a cinema in Sanremo, Italy.[2] It has been the venue of the annual Sanremo Music Festival competitions since 1977. The name is derived from Ancient Greek αριστον meaning "the best".
