– Walkers are a well known brand. There a more notable than anything else listed at Walkers (disambiguation) including the bands, the book, the Shortbread company, the law firm, etc. The current disambiguation is quite bad. • Support Walkers → Walkers (disambiguation), Weakly oppose Walkers (snack foods) → Walkers: The disambiguation should definitely be moved as requested due to the extensive use of "Walkers" as part of article titles. The snack food brand is not the first thing that comes to my mind, and other pages may qualify to have their own qualifier removed.   @CJDOS: if you don't think the disambiguation page should be primary (as your supporting the move to the (disambiguation) title strongly suggests) then something else needs to be moved into primary in its place, if not the snack food company then something else, but you haven't given any indication of what that something else is.   Martinevans123 makes a good point. The Walker Brothers were commonly known in UK as "The Walkers", and "the" is hardly ever a good disambiguator. If this move is made, The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore. Narky Blert (talk) 18:05, 17 September 2021 (UTC)

• Oppose. I'm not convinced about the case for pedestrians per WP:NOTDICT (we would never have an article at that title), but Walker (mobility) is convincing enough for me to challenge the snack brand on long-term significance. And even among food brands, Walkers Shortbread is probably more prominent outside the UK, so it's not even the primary topic by usage in the rest of the world. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 19:28, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

• Support per WP:PLURALPT. The plural form has established its own primarytopic here, and the snack company article has the most usage by far among "Walkers" topics, even taking into consideration the shortbread and the music groups. I say this as someone who has never heard of the snack company, but primarytopic is not always what first comes to your mind. Usage and significance are what count.   Oppose Walkers (company) as ambiguous with Walkers Shortbread. In the lead we have other non potato based snacks in brackets. Does this actually need to be in brackets? I don't think it does. Before I amend does sny one object?. Davidstewartharvey (talk) 15:56, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
