If you look at the Awards section, you will see several things.
Battle "E" is correct.
The following statement about the Meritorious Unit Commendation in 1973 and 1988 should read "Navy Unit Commendation".
The following statement, "Her latest awards are the Maritime Warfare Excellence Award, the Engineering/Survivability Excellence Award, the Command and Control Excellence Award, the Logistics Management Excellence Award..." is in error in that all of these, and many others, are categories within the Battle "E" award.
Then it says she was awarded the Meritorious Unit Commendation for her performance during her 1992-1994 Mediterranean deployment. In fact, she was awarded 3 Meritorious Unit Commendations. The author of this section needs to get the dates and facts right.
In all, she was awarded the following: 2 Navy Unit Commendations, 3 Navy Meritorious Unit Commendations, 4 Navy Battle "E" Ribbons, The National Defense Service Medal, 1 Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for Op. Restore Hope, Somalia, 1 Vietnam Service Medal, 2 Southwest Asia Service Medals, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, The Republic Of Vietnam Campaign Medal, And The Kuwait Liberation Medal. All of these should be included in this awards section.
