Rewording
The last sentence of the intro paragraph is a bit of ambiguous writing that erroneously has Toad being "common in jazz": Although common in jazz, "Toad" is one of the earliest drum solos recorded by a rock group. I've reworded it. rowley (talk) 06:58, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks, that is better. I've copyedited the last sentence: "drum solo(s)" was repeated three times in the last two sentences. —Bruce1eetalk 07:27, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for that. I further edited, leaving out the word "solo", as it made the sentence sound like all solos, not just drums, and this way continues your streamlining and by omission of the word, makes it clearer that we're speaking about drum solos.rowley (talk) 03:57, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
- You're right, "Toad" has already been identified as a drum solo, so there's no need to say "solo" (or "drum solo"). Thanks. —Bruce1eetalk 07:35, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
