There’s been some useful additions here, but I’ve removed a speculative paragraph from the "Constiuency history" section, as WP is not a crystal ball. Moonraker12 (talk) 15:01, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

PS I've also replaced the "Members of Parliament" section, which had disappeared: It's usual to have one, so I presume it was inadvertent. Moonraker12 (talk) 15:06, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the Green party and Brexit party candidates from the 2019 table as both aren't standing now. Lotrjw (talk) 22:28, 12 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Name

Why is this constituency called "South Swindon" as though it was a county, rather than "Swindon South" as it is a borough? Fig (talk) 22:09, 10 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This was addressed in the 2023 review of constituencies. Wire723 (talk) 14:05, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Boundaries

The ward boundaries changed in 2012 so this section is out of date. I don't know the area so don't want to attempt an update myself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.57.253.190 (talk) 16:54, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Name change

Now the General Election has been called the new revised boundaries are in effect (alright, technically from 30th May). Should we rename this article to "Swindon South" to reflect the new name? Same goes for the North Swindon / Swindon North article too, of course. Patch86UK (talk) 13:49, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've placed a move request for the article so that it can be renamed. MiaClarkWebb (talk) 15:21, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Trouble with the table

I can't get the 2024 election table to look right can someone help/fix it? Theinfomer07 (talk) 23:21, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dealt with by more than one editor, later the same night. Wire723 (talk) 14:05, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
