Swashplate animation is wrong

Inventor?
I thought that the swash plate was one of the methods James Watt patented in 1781 to circumvent James Pickard's patent of a crank. Apart from one trial model, he did not use the invention, but still it was invented long prior to 1913. source [1]. Inventor??
