I continue to question notability here. He played college football at a small college. He then signed to play pro football and was a total flop, being released after appearing in the season opener as a backup linemen. Yes, there is an article (here) from a local paper providing some depth of coverage at the time of his signing a pro contract -- the kind of piece that one expects to see when a local boy signs a pro contract.
