Suggesting deletion of the COI tag per lack of prompt discussion

According to wikipedia policy, whoever places the conflict of interest template should: "Like the other neutrality-related tags, if you place this tag, you should promptly start a discussion on the article's talk page to explain what is non-neutral about the article." Such a discussion has not been placed on this page. In fact, it appears that the tag was placed by a bot. I propose that the template be removed.Miaminsurance (talk) 01:51, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It was placed not by a bot, but by NorthBySouthBaranof here. Pinging that editor for their opinion. StarM 01:05, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand the COI tag either. This is a low edit article, and I am not seeing what gave rise to the tag. I am going to WP:BOLD and remove it.--Brad Patrick (talk) 19:00, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • You are absolutely correct. I read the editing incorrectly and it appears that the bot added the date or something. Thanks for clarifying it.Miaminsurance (talk) 12:37, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Written like a magazine profile

The article needs serious pruning to make it more like an encyclopedia article and less like a magazine profile. It contains excessive quotes from Rushin and relies heavily on sources written by Rushin. I'll leave the tag for a bit then clean it up if nobody else gets to it.
