Back up weapon
snipers also carry a back up weapon and a sniper assault rifle (atleast in dutch army). The assault rifle is a Diemaco C8 and back up is a Glock 17. The complete luggage of a sniper is around 70-75kg.
Also mention the meters to set the rifle scope (and thus the hit/miss of the shot). This can be done either trough a wrist watch (datawatch) which determines the number of clicks to input in scope when wind velocity, ... is known.
