Interesting! However, Rice University was named for William Marsh Rice who had no children. Samuel Colgate's family is the reason that Colgate University is named Colgate University. But that's pretty darned cool!--Paul McDonald (talk) 22:48, 22 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
