Resignation
The quoted text of his resignation letter is dated at Paris 4 May 1911; the article also states it was dated 10 May. I can appreciated that the letter may not have reached the Foreign Secretary for a while as the latter was presumably in Mexico, but that would not change the date of the letter.Davidships (talk) 17:45, 24 February 2020 (UTC)
"Englishing"
"a ban on re-election governor" makes no sense. Does it mean "a ban on governors succeeding themselves", "a ban on specifically elected (vs. appointed) governors succeeding themselves", or something else entirely? - Jmabel | Talk 21:32, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
