Sketchy
This article is very sketchy. I'm sure there are a lot of interesting and important things to be said about the subject, but they haven't been said yet. 213.122.23.32 (talk) 21:57, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
NPOV / Global
The article currently seems to make use of definitions and examples in such a way as to imply the modern-day United States has undergone militarization. While that may or may not be reflective of the sources used, A) it should be explicitly pointed out that sources have this perspective if they do so, and B) this leaves the article bereft of a discussion of militarization in other countries and in a historical context. I would suggest coverage of well-known historical and international examples, like the varying processes of militarization in Kingdom of Prussia through modern-day Germany--where the situation changed drastically between the Weimar Republic and Nazi Germany and then again between Nazi Germany and modern Germany. There is plentiful literature on the topic, and more of a consensus view available than regarding the United States. Knight of Truth (talk) 00:30, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
