Debut single
His debut single was in 1953 on the Pride label co-owned by Dizzy Gillespie https://www.discogs.com/Willie-John-And-The-Three-Lads-And-A-Lass-Mommy-What-Happened-To-Our-Christmas-Tree-Jingle-Bells-/master/1582839 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.90.31.248 (talk) 16:36, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
Untitled
How can it be said that John was "active" until his death in 1968 when he was arrested and locked up from 1964 on? 68.99.243.245 (talk) 05:10, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Deletion of mention of Lee's version of "Fever" in intro
On the grounds that it is not pertinent to John's notabilty, I deleted the following phrase from the introduction: "the latter covered in 1958 by Peggy Lee." Jwicklatz (talk) 01:26, 18 February 2017 (UTC)
- Not really a problem. Personally, I loath the unnecessarily loose use of the term "cover version" for much later, quite different, versions of songs. Ghmyrtle (talk) 08:07, 18 February 2017 (UTC)
