What on earth is "WHIP"? This page gives no indication whatsoever of what this statistic actually is! -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 09:13, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WHIP is linked to and the beginning of the article. Why does a rankings list start with "2"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.178.145.5 (talk) 16:11, 28 June 2014

This list is missing notable players marked as "active" on the article's MLB.com source page. Perhaps a better/alternative/easier source page would be http://www.baseball-reference.com/leaders/whip_career.shtml .

Notably missing in the list are Mariano Rivera and Clayton Kershaw (currently ranked #3 and #18 all career WHIP leaders, respectively, according to baseball-reference.com). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.175.208.214 (talk) 08:03, 14 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
