The library is closing, and the Williamsburg tax list in the published yentis and Love volume at p. 1447 is odd. He probably owned slaves, but instead of the normal 5 columns, only 2 columns are filled for each person. That normally indicating adult enslaved people shows 9, whereas in the next page George Wythe's shows 3. I don't know when Wythe formally freed his slaves. Jweaver28 (talk) 20:59, 28 May 2022 (UTC)
