The article speaks about the "town" of Schlesien, Austria, as opposed to the region of Silesia. But Schlesien is simply the German name of that same region of Silesia, in those days (before 1740, when it was occupied by Fredrick the Great of Prussia), a part of the Austrian Empire.
How many children died of mushroom poisoning?
According to the entries on Schobert in French and German, only one of Schobert's children died of mushroom poisoning. If that's correct, the formulation 'all but one' is at least misleading.
