New main article page

Hi! Following feedback from an editor, I have created a separate standalone article for gender quotas here: Gender Quota. Bschutz11 (talk) 06:20, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The article seems to be coming along really well. The author still needs to add more information under the titles that are in place, but clearly she plans to do so in future stages. It seems to be going in the right direction, some tweaks need to be made, but nothing major still. A strength that needs to be emphasized is the fact that the author is being neutral throughout the whole article. This topic a lot of times can evoke specific emotions in people and they may be drawn to say what they are feeling, however the author avoids that at all times. She presents the data and how gender quotas can be seen as a good thing to represent women, but she does not say that it is an inherently good thing. This is a very thing to do, but the author does a good job. I believe that to improve the article, she should either add the images as highlight points, or just make them larger. The author should also add a bit more to the “criticism” portion of the article, as gender quotas are thought as controversial by many people. I believe the article is well-developed at this stage and will be even more once the author concludes it. Luisatolda (talk) 02:55, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
