Reference

What volume of British Aircraft is the reference? I would suspect vol 2, but you appear to be referenceing a slightly later edition than the one I've got. Nigel Ish 19:35, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, sorry Reference was Vol 2 Page 297 of the 1973 edition, I have corrected ref entry in article. MilborneOne 20:06, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

COGEA

Added a mention of COGEA, even if it might be too much to hope this short-lived company will ever have its own chapter on en.wikipedia My information is from "Aeronews of Belgium", a periodical by the Aviation Society of Belgium, www.asa-be.com Scant as it is, I trust the info may be of interest to some. Specifications: weights

Something must be wrong here:

Empty weight: 15,501 lb (7,031 kg)

Gross weight: 10,999 lb (4,989 kg)

Market

I have some difficulty with the phrase "It was concluded there was not a market for the aircraft." Surely this plane was close enough to the de Havilland Dove, like as not inspired by the same recommendation from the Brabazon comittee? Yet the Dove did well enough commercially. There must have been another issue, the "market" was there all right, as far as I can see from many years later. Jan olieslagers (talk) 11:39, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
