Discussion of suggested merge of Coleman Manufacturing Company and Coleman-Franklin-Cannon Mill. I think the articles should be kept separate, as there are really two stories here: the mill had a much longer life than the company, and later additions to the mill express the general history of textile mills and the economy in Cabbarus County through the mid-20th century. Thus, it is worthy of a separate discussion and expansion. While Coleman Manufacturing Company developed and ran the mill, the company had a relatively short life. It's also important to note that the actual Mill is a historical site and thus aspects such it's architecture would be in that article, while they wouldn't belong in a history of the company. -Indy beetle (talk) 04:47, 16 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- Closed the merge proposal, given this objection no support. Klbrain (talk) 06:37, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
