Current name for some of the species formerly placed within this genus

It appears from the New Zealand Organisms Register that the current accepted name for the endemic New Zealand species previously placed in this genus now fall within the Heterocrossa genus. I refer any other editors to Volume 9 of the Insects of Hawai where Zimmerman, on page 797 argues that the Heterocrassa genus should not be a synonym of Carposina as the genitalia in this genus are distinctive. This was accepted by Dugdale in Lepidoptera - annotated catalogue, and keys to family-group taxa as well as in the 2012 publication New Zealand Inventory of Biodiversity. Unless other editors have an objection I propose editing this article to reflect this.--Ambrosia10 (talk) 03:00, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
