Lezard in Guardian misses Ernst Juenger
Zweig's non-hero is a foil to Ernst Juenger himself (awarded "Pour le Merite") and the author of "The Adventurous Heart" which was re-issued in an altered version in 1938. The original Juenger of "In Stahgewittern", later the author of "Die Arbeiter", is the foil for Zweig. The novel dissolves, almost as if acid is poured over it, with the outbreak of war. G. - If you have a good source for this (WP:RS) it would be great if you could add the info to the article! Smetanahue (talk) 21:08, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
