Rodney King is a 2017 American one-man show directed by Spike Lee, written by and starring Roger Guenveur Smith as a multiplicity of voices alternately supporting and opposing Rodney King's plight.[1][2][3] He researched, wrote and improvised the screenplay over the course of a few weeks.[3] It began streaming on April 28, 2017.[4]
