Richard G. Snyder (born November 12, 1961), also known as Rick Snyder, is an American business executive. He serves on the boards of Disruptive Technologies, Saviynt, the V Foundation, Next DLP, and Neat Video. Previously, he served as a senior vice president at Cisco.[1][2][3]

Biography

Early life and education

Snyder was born on November 12, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland. He holds a bachelor of arts in business administration and management from Loyola University, Maryland.[2]

Career

While a student at Loyola in 1982, Snyder was selected to serve as an intern at AT&T and continued in its management development program upon graduation in 1983. Snyder worked his way through the sales and leadership ranks at AT&T, Bell Atlantic (now Verizon), VMX, and Executone until 1998, when he joined Williams as a senior vice president. In 2004, Snyder became the CEO of ReView Video and joined TANDBERG in 2005 as its president until the company was acquired by Cisco in 2010.

In 2010, after the acquisition of TANDBERG, Snyder served as an executive with Cisco until his retirement in 2019. During his tenure at the company, he oversaw the integration of TANDBERG into Cisco, and later led the Strategic Partner Organization and the Americas Partner Sales Organization.[1][2][3]

In 2019, Snyder joined the advisory board of Saviynt. Then in 2020, he became a board member of Ava Security.[2] In the same year, Snyder also became a board member of Neat. He joined the board of directors of Next DLP in 2022 and became the chairman of the advisory board of Disruptive Technologies in the following year. He also started serving on the board of directors of the V Foundation and Disruptive Technologies in 2023.

As of 2024, Snyder is serving as a member of the board of directors for several organizations and companies, including Saviynt, Neat Video, Next DLP, Disruptive Technologies, and the V Foundation.

Personal life

Snyder married Leslie Silvestri in 1991. He has four children and lives in Naples, Florida, with his family.
