Montevecchia (Brianzöö: Muntavégia) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northeast of Milan and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) south of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,477 and an area of 5.9 square kilometres (2.3 sq mi).[3]
Montevecchia borders the following municipalities: Cernusco Lombardone, Merate, Missaglia, Olgiate Molgora, Osnago, Perego and Rovagnate.
