Mankera Tehsil (Urdu: تحصِيل منكيره), is an administrative subdivision, (tehsil), of Bhakkar District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The town of Mankera is the headquarters of the tehsil.[1]

Union Council Litten is a large union council in Bhakkar District, Punjab, Pakistan. The name "Litten" is said to be derived from the name of an elder who built a mud house with a sloping roof to prevent rainwater from collecting on it. It is said that a passing elder remarked that the roof was "laten" (sloped), and the name stuck.

The majority of the population of Union Council Litten is Baloch, with a significant number of Gunja caste members as well. Smaller communities also reside in the area. The most popular crop grown in the area is chickpeas. In terms of facilities, there are two high schools and one hospital.
