Joe Bailey (born 6 July 2004) is an English rugby union player who plays for Exeter Chiefs.

Early life

Bailey attended South Dartmoor Community College before studying sports science at Exeter University, where he played for the first XV rugby side.[3][4][5]

Career

Bailey played for Newton Abbot Rugby Club prior to his first call-up to the Exeter Chiefs squad for the Premiership Rugby Cup in September 2022.[6] The following season he was also playing number 7 for the Chiefs in that competition.[7]

International career

He is an England U20 international.[8][9] He scored a try in the final as England U20 won the 2024 World Rugby U20 Championship in South Africa.[10][11]
