Hideki Murai (村井 英樹, Murai Hideki, born 14 May 1980) is a Japanese politician from the Liberal Democratic Party. He has represented Saitama 1st district in the House of Representatives since 2012.[1]
Political career
In 2021, Murai headed the ruling Liberal Democratic Party's panel on digital currencies.[2]
In the Second Kishida Cabinet, Murai serves as Special Adviser to the Prime Minister for Domestic Economic and other special issues.
On 10 April 2024, Murai was among the guests invited to the state dinner hosted by U.S. President Joe Biden in honor of Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at the White House.[3]
