Ge with dot below (Г̣ г̣; italics: Г̣ г̣) is a letter of the Cyrillic script. It is used in Arabic Cyrillic. It is made of the letter Ge (Г г) and a dot below to represent the voiced velar fricative /ɣ/, like the ‘ch’ in Scottish “loch”, but voiced.
Use
In some systems that transliterate Arabic to Cyrillic, the Arabic letter غ is written as Г̣.[1][2][3]
